MnDOT Certified Landscape Specialist

This training is targeted at landscape contractors and their crew supervisors as well as Mn/DOT, county, city and consultant project engineers and inspectors who are, or may be, working with landscape contracts. Mn/DOT standard specifications require a contractor to have a Certified Landscape Specialist on the project site at all times either performing or directly supervising plant installation or establishment operations. Although the specifications do not require Mn/DOT and other landscape project inspectors be certified we highly recommend they attend one of the sessions and complete and pass the test and become certified landscape specialists.
