This landscape functions as a "setting piece" for the figure skating sculptures, unites the overall building with its site, and solves initial water runoff problems. Plant material forms, textures, and colors were kept simple so the figure skating sculpture could remain the center piece of this project. The Arborvitae hedge with an angled cut complements the line of the building façade and in doing so helps accomplish framing and connection of building to landscape.
