Bloomington Central Station
This public space between large corporate headquarters, a light rail passenger train and station, and two large condominium high rises was beautified with the use of large caliper trees, over 10,000 container plants, mulch, and steel edging. Many obstacles were overcome in completing this project including coordination with 10 contracting companies, a plant schedule full of non-hardy and unavailable plants, and inaccurate plan quantities.
